High Balls Bay is a great location for fishing. The bay created by the falls offers protection from the river flow; a great place for both fish and fishermen to hang out!  Common fish caught from the lake include small mouth bass, perch, pike, and even muskey on occasion. The lake is a host to a wide range of habitats, shallow and deep water, with beds of weeds, sand, and boulders.
